1:1 Meetings

Our event helps you to arrange personal meetings with other participants in a targeted and simple way.

As soon as you have registered for the event, our our networking platform gives you the opportunity to request other participants for a 15-minute meeting during the event. The following instructions describe how to register and arrange personal meetings.

1) Registration
Register using the registration form. After the registration you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. After clicking on the link, your registration will be completed and you can log in to the event platform.

2) Log in and enter time availability

After logging in, you will be taken to your overview page (Dashboard). The most important information about the event will be displayed there. If you want to take part in networking and arrange personal meetings, you should then go to the "Scheduling" page and specify when you are available for meetings.

All available time slots have already been activated for you. By clicking on the lock symbol in front of the time slots, you can block the times when you have NO TIME for appointments.

3) Fill in personal and organizational profile

The next step is to complete your personal profile. If you are participating as an employee of an organization, you should also complete your organization profile. The more informative your profile has, the more likely you are to be approached for a personal meeting. You can also post offers and requests in the marketplace if required.

4) Find contacts and requesting appointments

The efficient and easy-to-use free text search and the advanced search with specific filters help you to find the right contacts quickly and efficiently. Meeting requests can be sent directly from the search results or via the open participant profile. As soon as the meeting request has been accepted, the appointment is automatically entered in the personal agenda of both parties based on their availability. Both parties are immediately notified of their appointment by e-mail and via the system.

5) Requests and Meetings

You can find an overview of pending, sent and received meeting requests under the menu item "Requests". Here you can accept or reject the requests received.

The agreed meeting dates are listed in the agenda of the meeting partners. You can see from the agenda where and when you have your meeting with which person. Clicking on the "Meeting details" button displayed in the agenda takes you to the meeting foyer and offers you further options relating to the meeting.

The BigBlueButton (BBB) web conferencing technology is used as standard for online meetings. You can enter the meeting room 10 minutes before the start of the meeting.

6) BigBlueButton online meeting room

While entering the online meeting room, you can activate your microphone and camera. You can also use the chat to write messages. Screen sharing allows you to share your screen with your meeting partner (e.g. for a presentation).

Enjoy your meetings!
